Thank you so much for supporting Kris Joie and choosing handmade art. Because many of our items are made in small batches or created just for you, we have a few guidelines around returns and refunds to keep things fair, clear, and sustainable.
By placing an order on krisjoie.com, you agree to the policy below.
1. Overview
We want you to be delighted with your purchase. If something isn’t right, please contact us at info@krisjoie.com and we’ll do our best to help.

2. Items Eligible for Return
The following items are generally eligible for return:

Non-custom, non-personalized art prints

Non-custom, non-personalized original artwork
-
Non-custom home décor items (such as ready-made pillows or textiles)

Unused cards and stationery sets in their original packaging
Conditions for Return
To be eligible for a return:

You must contact us within 14 days of delivery.

Items must be unused, in their original condition, and in original or equivalent protective packaging.

You must provide proof of purchase (order number, receipt, or confirmation email).
If you’re unsure whether your item is eligible, email us at info@krisjoie.com with your order number and a brief description.
3. Non-Returnable & Final Sale Items
Because of the nature of our work and for hygiene/safety reasons, the following items are final sale and not eligible for return or refund (except in the case of damage or defect on arrival):

Custom or commissioned artwork

Custom upholstery projects or furniture pieces

Custom or personalized items (e.g., custom names, dates, colors requested specifically for you)

Polymer clay earrings and jewelry (for hygiene reasons)

Digital downloads or digital products

Gift cards

Sale, clearance, or “as-is” items clearly marked as final sale

4. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
We carefully inspect and package all orders, but if your order arrives:

A brief description of the issue

Clear photos of the item and packaging
Once we review your request, we will let you know if you qualify for:

a repair, or
-
a refund (in whole or in part).
We may ask you to return the damaged or incorrect item before sending a replacement or issuing a refund.
5. How to Start a Return

The item(s) you’d like to return

We’ll review your request and, if approved, provide:

Return instructions

The return shipping address

Any applicable return authorization

Ship the item back within 7 days of receiving return instructions.
We recommend using a trackable shipping service and keeping your receipt. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item without tracking.
6. Return Shipping Costs

If the return is due to our error (damaged item, incorrect item, etc.), we will cover or reimburse reasonable return shipping costs or provide a prepaid label when possible.

For all other returns (such as changing your mind), the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable, except where required by law or in cases of our error.
7. Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will:

Notify you via email that we have received your returned item

Inform you whether your refund is approved or denied
If approved, your refund will be processed to your original method of payment within approximately 7–10 business days, depending on your payment provider.
Partial Refunds
Partial refunds may be granted if:

Items are not returned in their original condition

Items are missing parts not due to our error

Items are returned outside the specified timeframe and we make an exception at our discretion
8. Exchanges
In some cases, we may offer an exchange instead of a refund (for example, different size print or a different item of similar value).

Exchanges are generally available only for eligible, non-custom items.

Polymer clay jewelry and custom items are not eligible for exchange, except in cases of damage or defect.
If you would like to request an exchange, please email info@krisjoie.com with your order number and what you’d like instead.
9. Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received your refund after we’ve confirmed it was processed:

Double-check your bank or card account.

Contact your credit card company or bank (processing time can vary).

If you’ve done all of this and still have not received your refund, please contact us at info@krisjoie.com.
10. International Orders (if applicable)
If you are ordering from outside the United States, please be aware that:

Customs fees, import duties, and taxes are not refundable by us.

You are responsible for any such additional charges imposed by your country.
